Biggest Mistakes In Web Design

Some of the worst mistakes for a website are...
1. Thinking people care about you and your site. People want to go to a website to fix their own needs. Nobody wants to go to a website for your needs they want to fix their needs.

2. Make a Good Title for your website. If you made a title for your website, but it dose not have anything to do with your site, most people wont be able to realize what your site is about.

3. Contrast. You need to make your site and the pictures on your site easy to see and read, if you make your site with bad contrast, nobody will want to stay on your site.

4. Your website isn't the best in the world. If you think your website is the best in the world and its better than everything in the world you are wrong, nobody is perfect and that's never gonna change.

5. Navigation. Make your website easy to navigate, if its hard to navigate nobody will want to stay and try to navigate a stupid unnavigable website.

6.  Make text easy to read. If your text is out of contrast and not easy to read nobody wants to stay and read it.

7. Too Much On One Page. If you put too much stuff on one page, it becomes cluttered and nobody likes a cluttered website.

8. Confusing your website with a magic trick. If you make your website for example look like a video game website people expect it to be a video game website not a Care Bears fan site.

9. Misusing Flash.  Nobody wants to watch a 2 minute intro to your website that they cant skip, that will take your web page visits down.

10. Misusing Graphics. Using outdated graphics that makes your website look like it just came out of the trash, then your just asking for people to stay away from your site.

11. Site lacks new content.. If you make a site that people come to and you update it on a regular basis, you'll be fine. but if you never update your site, people will just get bored of it.

12. Mystery Meat Navigation. This is probably the number 1 thing that can ruin a website. Mystery meat navigation or MMN means you must mouse over unmarked navigational buttons that are usually blank or don't describe their function.

13. Boring Websites. When your website is as boring as math homework nobody wants to come back because nobody likes math homework.

14. Seizure Websites. Websites that have a bunch of unnecessary flashing lights can keep people from reading your website because it would be impossible to read with a seizure.

15. Annoying Music. You put music on your website, good for you but if I go to a website and I'm constantly hearing Justin Beiber's Baby in the background i'm leaving as soon as possible.

Facial Recognition

I find this very weird that they could find out someones identity just by taking a picture of them.          Here is another article about it... How Stuff Works - Facial Recognition I'm not saying I hate it, don't get me wrong I find this incredible and amazing, but weird as well. If you just look at some random persons identity, is that an invasion of privacy???? I don't know but it is still incredible.  Technology is getting more advanced each day so almost anything is possible. We just got to believe!!!

Media Ownership

What's disturbing to me is the internet is a place of freedom (almost) and nobody should be restricted to it.
